Festaff began supplying a small number of casual staff to T in the Park over ten years ago. Since then the client list has grown and Festaff now offer casual employment opportunities at over a dozen music festivals in the UK. Green Futures Festivals aims to reveal the appropriate systems required to create a sustainable lifestyle and ecology, whilst also supporting personal and spiritual freedom. Born in London 2nd August 1955 J.C. (as he is known to one and all) has unique experience in the field of crowd safety planning and event management. As Projects Manager for a major stewarding company he was involved for eighteen years in the planning and operation of events around the world from Live Aid to the concert to mark the fall of the Berlin Wall.
In 1991 he accepted as position in the company Training Wing with a brief to develop the staff training programme from entry level Steward to Crowd Manager as an instructor qualified to Security Industry Training Organisation standard Level II he was instrumental in the development of a Crowd Management Training Course for police officers (now in its ninth successful year) and he pioneered acceptance of a Door Supervisor course by local authorities throughout the UK. He has personally trained over two thousand Door Supervisors within the scheme.
