Alt-fest launches a second Kickstarter call

Alt Fest is set to make history when it becomes the first festival to not only be funded by its fans but that asks its fans how they want the money raised to be spent to create a festival for the fans by the fans.  Launching today on crowd-funding platform Kickstarter, the Alt Fest campaign aims to raise a minimum of £30,000 that will be put towards creating several parts of the festival including the mainstage headline artists.  Every single person who contributes via Kickstarter will then be asked how he or she wants the festival to be developed

Our hand made yurts are the perfect addition to your event. We have over 10 years experience making, hiring, living in and siting yurts. We have been building our collection of yurts over time, learning and improving them year on year. We are well experienced and confident with our products and we live and breathe them.

Our Bell tents provide a cheaper option to compliment the yurts.

Our Futon bed collection can offer comfy nights sleep for up to 40 people

We own our own Showers – they work fantastically well and are extremely popular.

Are smart meters really clever?

Now you would have thought that as a member of the A Greener Festival team I would be very keen on smart meters that accurately measure energy use wouldn’t you? Well I’m not and let me try and explain why. Posh Wash Showers specialise in the hire of gas powered luxury mobile shower units. We are an enthusiastic and friendly team who have a longstanding history of hiring showers to all sorts of outdoor events including: festivals, weddings, private parties, sporting and corporate events.

Posh Wash Showers have both luxury and standard shower units for hire, including accessible showers with wheelchair access. We have 4, 5 and 6 bay shower units, all with washbasins and changing areas. Posh Wash Showers are gas powered and have a specialised pump system that will provide you with a hot powerful shower every time. For larger events we can also arrange for an attendant / cleaner to be on site for the duration of the hire.
