Pandemania Wood Fired Pizza

Festival caterers since 2006, Pandemania specialises in traditional artisan pizza baked to order in our Italian wood burning oven. We are trained bakers and relentless foodies and are constantly looking for new ingredients and recipes for our pizza and flat bread. We believe that festival food should be as delicious and as high quality as restaurant food and our menu reflects that. We use 20 or so different cheeses……goats log, shropshire blue, taleggio, feta, red leicester, mozzarella….etc, giant kalamata olives, sunblush tomatoes and artichoke hearts cured in Italy, and we roast our own caramelised balsamic onions and sweet peppers in our wood oven to enhance the smoky flavours. Our pesto is homemade, either from home grown basil or wild garlic collected in the spring. We also make our own tapenade, flavoured chilli and garlic oil and chutneys.

Our dough is made with 100 percent organic ingredients including local cotswold flour and extra virgin olive oil. We bake all our pizza to order and when our oven is at temperature (around 600 degrees) we can bake a pizza in less than a minute.

We are festival regulars at many events including Glastonbury, Wychwood, Towersey Folk Festival, Henley 80s Rewind, Croissant Neuf Summer Party to name but a few.

We love what we do, serving tasty food to hungry and appreciative customers is very satisfying and rewarding……its the best job in the world.

Green Events & Innovations: CONFERENCE UPDATE

We were just so pleased to welcome over 80 delegates and speakers to London’s SouthBank Centre on March 16th 2012 for our third   Green Events & Innovations conference and it turned out to be a fantastic day which we co-hosted with Bucks New University. With visitors from accross the UK and from the Netherlands and France coming for the one day conference, (held during Climate Week) we had a series of most excellent panels which covered food at festivals, new green innovations, the Greener Festival Awards, new developments in sustainability in film and TV production, water resources at festivals and a panel on the ‘economics of green’ in relation to festivals. One of the key sessions from the morning session was the Food Panel curated by Sustain ,  the alliance for better food and farming, advocates food and agriculture policies and practices that enhance the health and welfare of people and animals, improve the working and living environment, enrich society and culture and promote equity

Green Events Europe – what a show!

Marie (Rosklide), Ben (A Greener Festival/Glastonbury), Jacob (Green Music Initiative), Niklas (Way Out West), Holger (Green Events Europe/Rhinekultur) and Alfredos (Boom) Delegates from across Europe spent two days in the lovely city of Bonn debating, learning, discussing, networking and having some fun too at the fabulous  Green Events Europe conference.  A predominantly festival based event in 2010, the conference had been widened in 2011 to cover all live events and attracted attendees, speakers and panellists from Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Topics covered included a waste management workshop, a review of climate change science, an investigation and practical debate on carbon footprinting a live event, presentations on green camping and green catering, presentations on stakeholder communication,  an explanation of ISO 20121, two technical forums, a panel on creating a green campaign and a lively debate on ‘how can any event be green’ . On top of this there were  visits to a waste sorting centre and a ‘waste to energy’ plant in Bonn – and a gala dinner for delegates in Bonn! This year’s Green Events Europe conference has put the music industry’s green efforts at the heart of the move to a sustainable future.
