Custom Lanterns and site specific interactive installations.

I create lanterns and props for site specific interactive installation and celebrations, both directing the event and collaborating with film and sound practitioners, actors and writers.

I can create just the lanterns though too for any type of celebration or event at any size, specializing in beautiful animal lanterns like the image of a ghostly horse head taken by photographer @misund007  for our site specific event @kjohn1215 at The St Albans Festival.

Lantern design, site specific installation and workshops for clients like Metal culture, Appledore Visual Arts Festival, London Borough of Brent 2012 Olympics, the award winning SPID Theatre Company in London, St Albans Festival and The Pheonix Cinema, Finchley.

Our team has been working in the events industry since 1996 initially in music events and then moving into providing tents, lighting, decor, production and other related services. We pride ourselves on our flexible and friendly approach working with clients to tailor a personal service. We have worked at many of the UK’s premier festivals such as Glastonbury, Glade, Secret Garden, Big Chill, Sunrise and Shambala.

We specialise in providing music, decor & lighting to go with our tents. We offer a tent sales consultancy & management service for clients own tents.

Our website is packed with lots of gallery pics, tent information, and our blog reports on news and also event industry news, particularly on green issues.

We are closely allied with tent manufacturers in developing their products and specialise in stretch tents, helping pioneer them in the UK with Intent Productions.

About Us

We’re a site decor company “Festival Flags” and we hire out hand made silk flags to outdoor events and music festival.

We have provided flags for Glastonbury, Latitude, Beautiful days, Glade, Secret garden party, Electric picnic, Midlands’s festival and many more in the last year.

We are now in our 3rd year and doing well.

Flags are a beautiful way to brighten up any outdoor event and add colour and atmosphere to the festival site.

Over the last few years, decorative flags have become synonymous with festivals.

Glastonbury used over 900 flags last year (we had 250 there) and this trend seems set to continue.

There is an inherent beauty in the way silk moves in the wind and glimmers in the sun, it’s amazing to see the difference a flag installation will make to an event. It adds a vibrancy that a lot of people respond to and gives the impression that extra has been provided for the customer.

We offer a full service where we will design the lay out, colour coordinate, erect and dismantle the flags for you

We carry all our own equipment, and are fully insured.
