Sound Gallery Studios

Sound Gallery Studios is a professional, purpose built, acoustically treated and fully air-conditioned recording studio situated in the basement complex at Exeter Phoenix in the cultural heart of Exeter in Devon. The studio complex is well equipped with a range of classic analogue mics, pre-amps and synths (including the legendary Neumann U47, Prism Sound Maselec MMA-4XR, 1″ tape machine etc) alongside the best in digital effects processors, soft synths and plug-ins.

Specifications and Acoustic Design

We offer a wide range of integrated recording solutions, based around an Apple Mac Pro, Pro Tools and Logic Pro system. Our facilities include separate vocal booth, air-conditioned and acoustically treated live room and control room, featuring high-end acoustic Absorbing & BAD (Binary Amplitude Diffsorbor™) panels and Diffusor panels designed and manufactured by RPG – additional acoustic consultation and design by Roger Quested (Abbey Road Studios) and Max Hodges (Audiotech – SOS Forum).

The Noisy Toys installation is designed as a drop-in activity where people can have a go on the equipment for as long as they like with Music Scientists (in-character facilitators) on hand to help and interact with the crowd. People are drawn in by the bizarre sounds and noises in the space that constantly change as people manipulate the instruments in mesmerising experimentation.

In addition the Noisy Toys installation can be used for structured workshops, demonstrations and a unique Acrobalance performance which involves the audience using the Audio Consoles to control the performers.

CASH ON THE MOVE are specialists in providing cash machines (ATMs) for all manner of indoor and outdoor events nationwide; we have the capacity to meet the requirements of the largest events using state of the art, purpose built cash trucks and trailers, with a huge stock of temporary freestanding ATMs also available for indoor use, or marquee housed for external placements.

As well as providing our cash solutions and supplying the cash, we also have dedicated and experienced members of our team on hand throughout the duration of every event to ensure the smooth running of our service; this will include cash monitoring and replenishment and the resolution of any issues the consumer may encounter whilst using our ATMs.

We also provide permanent cash dispensing solutions (freestanding or through the wall applications) in any manner of fixed locations, such as retail areas, entertainment venues and even on board ships.

Our ATMs charge the consumer a convenience fee for each cash withdrawal, whilst there is no fee for balance enquiries and withdrawal declines.

Cash on the Move ATMs are connected to the LINK network under the Infocash membership. Our ATMs dispense cash to all UK debit card holders through the LINK association, whilst credit cards and overseas debit cards are accepted via the VISA & MasterCard schemes (where applicable).
