At Jurassic Events we make it our mission to build amazing, creative, outrageous structures and venues.
After spending years in the events industry decorating festivals and events all over the UK, we decided we wanted to create something which would stop people in their tracks, we wanted to build structures that would take your breath away.
We originally had the idea of a huge pirate ship and then a junk yard venue, both of these venues are available for 2013.
Our next projects include a western saloon and the haunted mansion.

The Aurora Project.
The Aurora Project was an idea that came about in spring 2010. We toyed with different designs and shapes until we were all happy with not only the functionality, but also the aesthetics. Having the experience and passion for creating outrageous projects, building the UFO was the next logical step. By the summer of 2011 we gathered our team consisting of carpenters,electricians,welders and artists to start on the UFO build. Three months later we were finished and ready to showcase our creation.
The concept and design for the UFO was generated in house. With many years experience in the events industry the UFO implements many tried and tested methods. The structure itself consists of mainly CNC machined aluminium that was welded in our workshops. At this stage of the design/build we worked with structural engineers to maintain the correct strengths and wind-loadings to comply with all current standards. The coverings are all PVC and slide into our main beams to not only solidify the UFO under tension,but also to make a watertight seal. The bar is slick and efficient and stocks a wide variety of spirits and good selection of draught products all run by our experienced staff. Access around the UFO is easy and is designed as to avoid bottle necks at any given area,this also increases the effectiveness of any security/fire issues should any incident arise.The erection time is three days and a pitch of 20m diameter is more than adequate. At present there is work under way to provide two extra themed areas to increase capacity from 250 – 500. The UFO comes with all relevant insurances, risk assessments, health and safety and fire fighting equipment.

We predominantly supply scaffolding and rigging services but have the capability to form a joint consortium when the need arises. Igloo Structures
Igloo Structures provide an alternative solution to traditional marquee or gazeebo hire.
The Igloo has a capacity for up to 40 people or up to 60 when used with the Minigloo Pods. The Minigloo Pods are individual shelters that can be hired with The Igloo or on their own. They have their own seating, table, lighting and a unique high tech, self powered mini MP3 speaker dock.
The Igloo tent can be hired empty or you can let us furnish and decorate it as well. We have a range of cushions, rugs, bean bags and hand made stools and benches to transform the tent into a cosy comfortable space. The tent is supplied with fully detachable walls to shelter from the wind and rain and also increased security at night.
We can supply a full P.A and low powered L.E.D lighting rig. We also have the option of running on solar power, this means The Igloo can be sited in a variety of locations. For larger events we can supply a 8k P.A and a range of DJ’s to cover every musical taste, a band or cabaret act.
