WHAT WE DO FOR YOU!

We bring fantastic composting toilets to festivals. We set them up on a pitch in campsites or arenas, usually within the market areas.

We clean every toilet continuously for up to 20 hours a day.

We provide friendly customer service, reading material, loo roll, usually a good laugh, bingo, the basic comforts such as lighting, mirrors and much more.

We do not use any water or chemicals at any stage and take all your poo home and compost for two years to grow flowers in it, although it has many more applications (It would be perfectly safe to use on your own veg patch after two years).

As is always the case with these things there is a small charge for the festival-goers per visit to cover the costs of us attending the event and the subsequent composting of your poo there after. Thunderboxes give total flexibility whilst maintaining sanitation standards and user comfort, and are the environmental alternative to the standard chemical loo, which have high-embedded costs, minimal capacity, strong chemical usage and highly consumptive water requirements.

Existing temporary loo provision represents a very unsustainable and often unpleasant experience, and requires specialist smelly disposal, employing large vehicles generating high “Poo-miles.”

With our partners at Changeworks we aim to recycle 100% of waste for all types of event.

We can provide three levels of service:

  • Collection – specific recycling receptacles to collect your recyclable waste from your site or premises
  • Organisation – working with you to draw up a waste management plan for your event.

Green Futures Festivals aims to reveal the appropriate systems required to create a sustainable lifestyle and ecology, whilst also supporting personal and spiritual freedom. Our aim is to develop friendly, affordable and environmentally-friendly bus services in order to give those without cars the freedom to get around easily and encourage those with cars to use public transport instead in order to help reduce global warming.

Our buses run on 100% locally-sourced used cooking oil in order to minimise their impact on the environment, and at £1.50 per journey or £2 for the whole day our fares are a bargain!
