Roadways

These come in both aluminium and plastic. They are capable of accommodating anything from pedestrians to heavy traffic involving equally heavy vehicles.

  • Aluminium – Our aluminium roadway systems consist of versatile panels or rolls that are easily adaptable for all sites and conditions. They’re environmentally friendly; stable on soft or wet surfaces; able to safeguard the ground beneath them as well as any underground utilities; and capable of improving the load-bearing capacity of the existing terrain (withstanding loads of up to 1,000 tonnes).
  • Plastic – Our plastic roadways are designed for rubber-wheeled vehicles of up to 30 tonnes, however their installation doesn’t require specialist vehicles or equipment. Incredibly versatile, these roadways can be laid as a single track, in parallel tracks or as a “pad” area.

Walkways

Remarkable versatility is just as much a feature of our temporary walkways as it is of our vehicle access. Our range, the largest in the industry, allows pedestrians to cross practically any type of terrain imaginable. And to do it in safety.

They have a list of great benefits: they’re lightweight; they’re sturdy; they don’t require specialist tools or equipment to install; they can be put together in minutes; they’re designed to fit around obstacles; they protect against tripping; and they allow disabled access through integrated ramps. To stretch the term “walkway” a bit, some of these systems can also support light vehicles on level ground. So if you need temporary car parking, access roads or even a helipad, Bob’s your uncle.

Pitch coverings

To cover turf for long periods (with crowds of people walking across the cover) without the grass suffering irreparable damage requires a specialist product. Well, our pitch-covering systems are precisely that. The unique design of the tiles allows air, light and water through. So the grass can stay green. And, in some instances, will actually grow better.

Looking after pedestrians is obviously every bit as important as caring for blades of grass, so our coverings have special safety features. These include grip surfaces and edge ramps. For added convenience, we can supply cable ducts for running an electrical supply or water pipes under the walkway.

Bridges

In keeping with our other products, our vehicular and pedestrian bridges are quick to construct – very little ground preparation is needed – and they’re extremely versatile. The required height, span and level are easily achieved because of the modular nature of the construction. Although fast to build, they needn’t be taken down in a jiffy. Because they’re also ideal for long-term projects.
