Michael Eavis and Rob da Bank

The figures responsible for the UK’s best big festivals – Glastonbury and Bestival – will be online to answer your questions at 1pm on Friday 11 May. Leave your questions here More than 300 bands are gathering for the Great Escape in Brighton this week, but the festival is more than just a celebration of new talent: running alongside it is a music industry convention , with figures such as the Guardian’s Alexis Petridis discussing everything from how to get started in the business, the point of record reviews and how to get the most out of digital platforms. The highlight of this melee is undoubtedly the “Great Festival Conversation”, which will see Glastonbury’s Michael Eavis and Bestival’s Rob da Bank meeting to discuss the business of festivals, together with a number of younger promoters.

Glastonbury: Green Traveller
